I was fortunate to spend a week at the Sante Fe Institute in New Mexico -- one of the preeminent research institutions in the world. It is the "world headquarters" for complexity science. Under the direction of Chris Wood, I was given carte blanche to photograph the post docs and other scholars there as they went about their various projects. It was an honor to shadow, and get to know, some of the brightest minds in physical science, computational reasoning, biology, and mathematics.
